San Geronimo Valley Art Action
Roadside Art Action Car Procession, a Benefit for Non-Profits Supporting Black Lives
ABOUT
WHO WE ARE. WHAT WE DO. HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT US.
All these art pieces were created during the month of June, 2020 by artists connected to the San Geronimo Valley. Following their successful local roadside exhibition and car procession on July 4th, prints, magnets, banners, signs and stickers made from the original artwork was used to raise funds for two groups that have been doing the kind of work that fits the Black Lives Matter mission:
The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights & The Bail Project
WE HOPE THESE PIECES INSPIRE YOU TO CONTINUE TO WORK FOR A JUST SOCIETY
WHERE BLACK LIVES MATTER AND OUR VOTES COUNT!

DONATE
WHATEVER YOUR REASON FOR DONATING & HOWEVER YOU CHOOSE TO MAKE YOUR DONATION, WE ARE GRATEFUL!
When thinking about donating to Black Lives Matter campaigns, we focused on directing the money locally, and at the inequities that are in the forefront at this moment. The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights is located in Oakland and has a long history of successful work, addressing many aspects of human rights that affect Black people. The other group we feel strongly about is The Bail Project. At this pivotal moment, no one should stay in jail because they can’t post bail!
While supporting these groups was important to us, we still decided to price the artwork affordably. so price wouldn’t stop anyone who was interested in displaying them, in the lead-up to the election and afterward! We are proud to say that the project allowed us to donate $1,386 to each of the groups we chose. Now that the ordering period is over, we encourage you to donate directly! If you do, we’d appreciate you mentioning that you heard about them through the Roadside Art Action!
